WHAT:
The 31st Annual Superintendent’s Cadet of the Year Ceremony and Pass-in-Review honors BCPS JROTC Cadet of the Year and top distinguished cadets. This signature event celebrates student achievement across 31 JROTC programs representing 29 District high schools, culminating in the presentation of the prestigious Cadet of the Year trophy and scholarship.

WHY:
During the ceremony, BCPS Superintendent Dr. Howard Hepburn will conduct a Pass-in-Review, a long-standing military tradition in which a commanding officer inspects and salutes unit personnel. BCPS JROTC is the largest program in the nation, with more than 5,000 participating students and a 99% graduation rate.
